I think the alternate ending is a lot better as many things make more sense.
Dont care about everyone else's ending, my only complain was Cersei death it was garbage, killed by a rock seriously. Come on! manh.

I love game of thrones, still a fan, but season 8 was shit and this doesnt change that. It was still an enormous letdown. And Yara and Gendry had no power to do anything. Its crap, all crap. I could have written a better ending. A five year old could have. It sucked.

I was originally annoyed that Jorah was originally supposed to have survived…..but now I’m really glad he went out the Hero he did. Dying for his queen. I love Jorah ✊
The whole season was shot/edited like a music video
Jorah was great and his story arc was exceptional. He would be the character closest to myself. In the end he died the way he lived his life, fearless and unyielding in his loyalty.

here’s an ending i came up with:
arya DOES kill cersei and jaime lives (in this ending, he doesn’t go back to cersei cause y’know, we don’t just throw away character arcs around these parts) the hound would also die because that ending was fitting, as was theon’s. jorah survives but remains loyal and daenerys doesn’t “go mad” (which jorah’s loyalty helps with this) and eventually, daenerys can’t stand to see jon anymore because it just reminds her they’ll never be together so he is exiled to the true north (because i feel that ending did fit jon and in a way, that is dany giving him his peace bc ultimately, she is selfless enough to let him go and know where he would thrive the most) HOWEVER there is a bit of time before he is exiled and they have a moment of weakness and sleep together again and daenerys falls pregnant because that’s the only thing i saw people complain about was that she wouldn’t have an heir (there was actually a plot line where she was pregnant before the battle but d&d didn’t want the backlash of her dying pregnant so we’ll just NOT kill dany and still keep her pregnant) you’d get that bit of angst still because jon would never know of his child, given he is exiled, and daenerys claims the child is another high lord’s or something along those lines to keep rumors from spreading (especially since the realm would be rid of all the people who would start drama i.e cersei and petyr) and she gives the north their freedom as well and jorah would still be given the respect/honor he deserves (pretty emotional ending if you ask me) after defending the realm/the north
